2013 Meridian Heritage Festival
Each year the Meridian Historical Village partners with both the Meridian Township Parks and Recreation Department and the Nokomis Learning Center to put together historical activities related to the 19th century and prior. Visitors enjoy early American demonstrations and exhibits in the Village as well as children's activities and games. Performers in previous years have included Lee Mulder (an Irish/ Scottish Folk Singer), the Lost Hitchhikers, and Ardans School of Irish Dance. For the last two years we have enjoyed watching various teams from an 1860's baseball club demonstrate 1860's style "base ball." We hope they will be able to join us again in 2013!
