Building Rentals

The Barnes House and Schoolhouse are available for rent for
birthday parties, bridal or baby showers and other special events.

Times Buildings are Available for Events

10 am to 7 pm

Building Capacity

Barnes House: For seated events (e.g. afternoon tea or evening meal) the maximum number of guests is 25. Other informal events may accommodate up to 40 guests.

Schoolhouse: Maximum number of guests is 30. School desks may not be moved.

Equipment

Barnes House: You will need to bring your own supplies (e.g. linens, plates, etc.). The Village has a limited number of tables and chairs.

The use of candles is prohibited. Also, all buildings in the Village are smoke-free.

A representative from the group needs to make sure all trash is picked up and placed next to the Township barrels prior to leaving.

Cost

The cost for three hours of building use is $75.00, including time for set-up and clean-up (including sweeping the floors). Events lasting more than three hours will be charged $25.00 for each additional hour or part of an hour.

A deposit of $25 is required to hold the date. Checks should made payable to “Friends of Historic Meridian” and mailed to the address below. Credit card payments accepted online only. Balance is due on the rental date.

Cancellation

If cancelled within one week of the reserved date, $25.00 will be refunded.
