Digging into History 2021
Registration is limited to children entering grades 3-7 in the fall of 2021. Register prior to July 1st: cost is $20 per morning or
$100 for the week (a discount of $25). Register between July 2 and August 1: cost is $25 per morning or $125 a week. You may
register your child for as many mornings as you wish.
To register your child, please contact the Village office. You may also register your child online and pay by credit card below.
Daily themes for 2018 (A Day in the Life)
Monday: "Frontier Digs"
Monday finds campers building roads of the past and exploring log cabin living.
Introduction to wool, spin yarn, make felt, create a take-home craft.
Tuesday: “Apprentice Digs"
Tuesday campers take on apprenticeships like basket making, tin smithing, or possibly rope making or pottery.
Wednesday: “Garden Digs”
Garden Digs finds the campers working with the Backdoor Gardeners and doing nature crafts.
Thursday: “Delivering Digs
Delivering Digs Thursday has campers practicing methods of communication from colonial times and into the early 1900s.
Friday: “Digs History”
Dig History on Friday has campers really digging into layers to find and study artifacts.
Please download the forms below, and bring them with you on the first day of camp. Extra forms will also be available at registration. Campers should be dropped off and picked up in front of the Schoolhouse.
