Why should kids have all the fun?
The Friends of Historic Meridian will host a Day Camp just for adults on Saturday, April 29th at the Meridian Historical Village. The camp will run from 10 am-2 pm and will provide multiple opportunities to experience what life was like 100 years ago.
Participants will learn about life on the homestead or as an apprentice. Apprentice skills will include printing, stenciling, weaving, spinning or tin punching. Life on the homestead will include activities such as food preparation, rug hooking, washing laundry, making cornmeal, or quilting.
A tour of the Village buildings and a pioneer lunch is included, and participants will leave with a “goodie bag” from the Friends of Historic Meridian.
